Data controller
Fidooo LLC ("Fidooo Engineering"), with operations in Bolivia and Argentina, is responsible for processing the personal data collected through CartaTuil. For privacy inquiries, you can write to hola@fidooo.com. This Policy complements our Terms and Conditions.
Data we collect
From your account
First and last name, email, mobile number, date of birth, and password (encrypted).
From your business
Business name and legal name, address/location, WhatsApp, menu link, and the content you upload (dishes, prices, photos, and videos).
Usage and device data
Technical data such as device type, browser, approximate IP address, and anonymous statistics of visits to your menu.
When uploading photos and videos, we automatically remove location metadata (GPS) to protect your privacy.
How we use data
Create and manage your account and your business's digital menu.
Publish your menu and allow diners to view it via QR or link.
Send you operational communications (confirmations, security notices, and support).
Improve the Service through aggregated and anonymous statistics.
Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data based on contract performance (providing the Service you requested), your consent (e.g., optional communications), compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the platform securely.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers who help us operate the Service, under confidentiality obligations:
Cloud infrastructure and storage (e.g., hosting and database services).
Image/video processing and delivery (optimization and CDN).
Analytics and transactional email tools.
Authorities, when required by law.
Your public menu information (business name, dishes, prices, photos) is visible to any diner with the link or QR.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage to maintain your session, remember preferences, and measure usage in an aggregated way. You can manage cookies from your browser; disabling them may affect some Service functions.
Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active and for the period necessary to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. Upon account termination, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except for those we are legally required to retain.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit, encrypted passwords, and access controls. No system is 100% infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to minimize risks.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may exercise the rights to access, rectify, update, cancel/delete, object to, and port your data, as well as withdraw your consent.

Minors
The Service is directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we detect that a minor has provided us with data without proper authorization, we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service or regulations. We will publish the current version with its update date and, for relevant changes, we will notify you via the app or email.
